News: Georgia House passes bill that would give Alliance Theatre makeover a sales tax break

This is one of those seedy exemptions that sounds like it would apply to more organizations, but really only applies to one, based on the criteria.
"...exempts nonprofit organizations that include an art museum, symphonic hall and theater from local and state sales tax on construction projects. That definition uniquely fits the Woodruff Arts Center..."
Picture note - that's not THE theater - just a local one that I photographed.
